   Carol, the site looks fab! The only difficulty I have is that I see references to Susanna knowing I can’t read it yet! Having read the first two, I am very much looking forward to it, and hope you are doing well.

   Dearest Carol, I see you’re no longer on FaceBook and I have a Twitter account but do not use it, but I have luckily found you via amazon on this lovely blog! I love the photos of your home. Mandy showed us some of the photos she took on one of their visits…so lovely. We have lost a number of trees in our forest to a very severe ice storm. Some of the tops are still hanging by a thread! I wanted to let you know that I finally pulled Claire out of my Mom’s hands and read it in just a few days! It was hard to put down and I certainly look forward to Susanna. I was so struck by the way that they perpetuated the treatment of their elder daughters, in spite of the fact they had been treated much the same by their mothers. Last year my Mother had a mild heart attack and had to come live with us for 24/7 care. I do have some respite caregivers and Mother likes most of them. She was reading Claire but she kept falling asleep and then forget what she read (Alzheimer’s has taken its toll) and start over! Finally, I hid the book and she picked out another so I got to finish Claire. Congratulations, too, on the B.R.A.G. award.
